Caravanning around Tasmania gives you the freedom to explore and enjoy Australia’s island state.
Tasmania is the perfect destination to take your caravan beach hopping, mountain climbing or on foodie adventures. It is the perfect state to take a scenic drive by highland lakes or hikes through old world forests. You can spend your time walking through early Australian convict history or across picturesque suspension bridges. Not to mention, it is a perfect place to browse farmers markets in the morning and sip whisky as dusk.
Tasmania is one of the best states in Australia for travelling in a caravan, motorhome or camper-van, with ample, spectacular and low cost camp spots. Below, each picture links to an account of my fond Tassie memories. We spend the summer of 2014-15 exploring every nook and cranny of this wonderful island state and would recommend that you start planning your southern adventure soon.
